Day 21

Meal #1 8:15am
two eggs
sauteed peppers, carrots, zucchini
three slices bacon



Comments:
Today's going to be a really great day!

Tomorrow I'm only going to have two pieces of bacon. This breakfast amount has become more than I'm hungry for and I'm eating past hunger. I left some vegetables today (because I didn't want to waste the egg) and only ate that last piece of bacon because I'm such a sucker for bacon.

I think the orange juice is a contributing factor in making me full too. It's a nice accompaniment to the food though.

In the last couple days, my weight has, so far, seemed to start going back down again. I stopped losing when I was having the problems with tomatoes (and cheese?). Hopefully it'll continue. I understand how fat loss/muscle gain works and I don't mind no weight number loss, especially when I'm still having success with inches lost, but some days I could mentally really use both.

Snack #1 11:15am
smoothie
20 assorted nuts



Meal #2 1:45pm
tuna with peppers and avocado



Meal #3 6pm
bison
sliced red peppers
carrots barely sauteed in bison pan with bacon fat, garlic and basil



Comments:
I prefer my carrots a little cooked, but even still I ended up barely heating them. They were very flavorful though.

The bison was good. It was different from other meat I've had. It was really hearty, but still not fatty in any way, at least what I ate. I'd definitely have it again.

Snack #2 7pm
apple with homemade almond butter*



Comments:
I made my own almond butter today! It took awhile and my food processor really wanted to overheat, but ultimately it tastes great and is more cost-effective. I'm glad I took the time to do it.

I went out tonight after the kids went to sleep. By the time I got home, I was tired enough to go to sleep. Even though I was starting to get hungry, I didn't eat anything. My new goal for myself is to not eat so late. This ultimately will change everything else I do. If I don't eat late, it means I can't work out too late. It also means I'm going to start going to bed earlier because I can't eat if I'm sleeping. Originally, my goal was going to be to sleep more, but I think this goal is more effective overall.
